2007 Chapter Officers
   President: Yana Izdebskaya
Email: izdebskaya@mail.ru
Yana Izdebskaya is the PhD student of Physical Department of Taurida National V.Vernandsky University. Izdebskaya’s research focuses on singular optics, and in particular the creation of profile singular beams that capture and transport microparticles. This research contributed to a patent for optical tweezers, which have applications in optoelectronics, medicine, research, and nano- and micro-engineering. She developed an experimental technique of imprinting of high order optical vortices in Gaussian beams that diffract from the dielectric wedge. She has authored more than 20 papers, presented research at many conferences, and is named in two patents. Ms. Izdebskaya is the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
   Vice-President: Alexander Rubass
Email: optical-vortex@nm.ru
Alexander Rubass received his Ms. D. in 2004 in Taurida National V.Vernandsky University and is currently a third-year PhD student at the same University. Alexander Rubass became interested in the optics field during his third year of education at TNU. Main areas of her scientific activity are singular optics of optical fiber fields, free space and crystals optics. He is the author and co-author of more 10 papers in the international magazines in the field of Singular Optics. He took part at many international conferences. Alexander Rubass had got Grant of Ukrainian Council of Ministers.
   Secretary: Nataliya Shostka
Email: nataliya_shostka@mail.ru
Nataliya Shostka is the student of General Physics Chair of Physical Department of Taurida National V.Vernandsky University. Main areas of her scientific activity are singular optics of optical fibre fields and free space. During two years she is engaged in researches of the polarized features in a field of radiation an optical fiber. Also she studies methods of the constructions of computer networks the help of an optical fiber. She took part at some international conferences. Her scientific papers were published in some Ukrainian scientific journals. She had got Ukrainian President Scholarship.
   Treasurer: Vyacheslav Mikhaylov
email svartanian@mail.ru
Vyacheslav Mikhaylov is currently a third-year student of General Physics Chair of Physical Department of Taurida National V.Vernandsky University. Area of his scientific interests is topological phases in optics, singular optics, phase conjugation in nonlinear fiber optics. Also he studies methods of the constructions of computer networks the help of an optical fiber. He took part at some international conferences. He helped design and build an original project of 3D optical trapping. The project sparked his interest in optics.
