Being an SPIE member and especially in an SPIE student chapter is a wonderful thing. SPIE membership opened doors to all sorts of creativity for students: attending conferences, opportunity to take some short courses, organizing meetings with top scientists, visiting companies and universities, access to new articles and books, etc.
   Student members of SPIE have this great chance to compete for the SPIE educational awards. This stimulates their to do more and even better research and present their researches on conferences in order to be competitive with the very best scholars in optics and engineering all around the world.
   Also students of our Chapter are grateful to SPIE for help in subscription of a very important press for scientist and help in realization of our goals.



   Taurida National V. Vernadsky University SPIE Student Chapter in Crimea, Ukraine was founded in March, 2002.
   Our Chapter is based in the General Physics Department under the advising of Prof. Alexander Volyar, Head of General Physics Department.
   Chapter mission lies in supporting the students, demonstrating outstanding results in the field of Singular Optics, Quantum Electronics, Fiber Optics, Optical Engineering, and Gene Engineering etc.
