RESEARCH OF TAURIDA NATIONAL V.VERNADSKY UNIVERSITY
OSA STUDENT CHAPTER
The main goal of the Chapter is to study the wide variety both of natural and artificial wave singular phenomena for the development and perfection of the elemental basis of Quantum Electronics, Fiber Optics, Optical Engineering, and Gene Engineering etc.

Optical Vortices Section
The main goal of Optical Vortices Section is to study and seek the physical properties of optical vortices, the processes of their birth, death, evolution and interaction in laser beams wave fields of other types, to seek the ways to generate high-energy vortices and other combined singular beams for trapping transportation and manipulation of microparticles having different sizes up to some hundreds microns and different chemistry.

Wave Caustics Section
The main goal of Wave Caustics Section is to study the processes of the wave caustics forming in artificial and natural phenomena seeking their crystallographic structure and vortical composition to control their form, movement of structural dislocations and disclinations in order to design different photonic crystal-like materials and structures.

Fiber Optics Section
The main goal of Fiber Optics Section is to study the variety of waveguide singular processes in wave transmitting, to seek waveguide structures able to maintain a vortical propagation preserving single optical vortices without structural transformations so as to develop and design super-sensitive fiber-optical sensors of physical values, communication lines with super-low dispersion etc.
